Showing off as the two most active communities in Asia, YGG Play, the publishing arm of crypto gaming protocol Yield Guild Games (YGG), together with Igloo APAC, the regional arm of Pudgy Penguins owner Igloo Inc., introduced “Pengu Wonderland,” an Asia-themed map in LOL Land.

Went live during Coinfest Asia 2025 in Bali, Indonesia, Pengu Wonderland was created in partnership with Pengu Asia, the community of Pudgy Penguins for the Asia-Pacific region.
It is an Asian-themed map because it features landmarks and cultural symbols, including Taiwan’s Taipei 101, China’s Shanghai TV Tower, Vietnam’s Ben Thanh Market, Hong Kong’s HSBC Building, Malaysia’s Petronas Towers, Singapore’s Merlion, and a classic jeepney from the Philippines.

Furthermore, there will be five Pudgy Penguins and 15 Lil Pudgys to appear in the game, which are NFTs owned by holders in Asia. Some of the known community members who can play their NFTs as characters in the game are Brian (#6300), Kinglongwu (#652), and Swam (#2637). YGG Play made this possible by using Igloo’s OverpassIP licensing platform, according to a blog.

What is LOL Land?
Launched in May 2025, LOL Land is the first title under YGG Play and is built on top of Abstract Chain, the blockchain created by Igloo Inc., and is the same network that powers the Pudgy Penguins ecosystem.
It is a digital board game where players roll dice, move across themed maps, collect points, and unlock in-game rewards, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs.
LOL Land has two modes: the first is the free mode, but players cannot earn on-chain rewards; the second is the premium mode that lets users buy rolls, use NFTs, and earn rewards like $YGG, the native token of YGG.
It initially had four maps, which are YGG City, Beach Day, Carnival, and Ice World Wonderland. Early licensed Pudgy characters are also included. It also featured GigaLand, a Gigaverse-branded map with limited-edition LOL Land skins available, in partnership with the blockchain-based role-playing game Gigaverse.
The game’s launch was backed by a $10 million worth of $YGG prize pool and was promoted as the game for the “casual degen.”
In July 2025, LOL Land recorded 631,000 monthly active users and 69,000 daily active users, with paying players spending $434 on average.
