Despite a decline in the market capitalization of meme coins from December’s peaks above $100 billion, this segment remains one of the most popular among investors. According to CoinGecko, since late June, the “funny money” market has been gradually recovering alongside a broader rise in altcoins.
Amid renewed interest, the team at Meme Studio LAB is conducting a presale for Snorter—a Telegram bot designed to address key challenges faced by meme token traders, which became apparent in 2024. We explore what the project offers and how to participate in the token sale.
Humans Losing to Bots
According to research by analyst Naveen_0505, a “bot army” on Pump.fun accounts for 60-80% of the trading volume of certain coins to create FOMO and drive up prices. Ordinary traders struggle to keep up with automated scripts that execute multiple trades in seconds.
The problem is so significant that maximum extractable value (MEV) has become “the dominant constraint for blockchain scaling.” In a June report, the research group Flashbots found that spam transactions generated by arbitrage bots consume block space faster than high-performance networks can expand it.
According to the Flashbots team, projects focus too much on the technical side of network scaling, overlooking the economic constraints imposed by market structure.
“The DeFi sector continues to gain popularity but is still quite young and relatively small, vulnerable to attacks and manipulation. The meme token market is where you can really make your 10x, but it’s tough for the average user to survive,” comment Snorter representatives.
Snorter: A Complete Trading Stack in Telegram
The Snorter project team plans to integrate trading functions directly into the Telegram messenger. According to the white paper, users will have access to the following features:
quick swaps. Routing through a private Solana RPC infrastructure with front-running protection and a 0.85% fee;
auto-sniping. Users paste a token or Raydium pool address. The bot tracks liquidity in real-time and buys immediately upon detecting funds;
limit orders. Automatic buys and take-profits without constant chart monitoring;
scam protection. Verification of each token before trading. Blocking assets with honeypot characteristics;
copy trading. Automatic replication of top wallet trades with position size control;
portfolio. The /portfolio command shows PnL, asset value, and realized profit.
Initially, the bot will operate on Solana, but developers plan to add support for Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Base in the future.
Among the project’s competitors are Maestro, Banana Gun, Bonk Bot, and Sol Trading Bot. Snorter’s advantage lies in its specialization in meme coins with a focus on speed and scam protection.
According to project representatives, most alternatives offer general trading but do not address the specific issues faced by meme token traders.
The SNORT Token
The team has issued a utility token with a fixed supply of 500 million SNORT. Token holders pay a 0.85% fee instead of the standard 1.5% and receive “unlimited sniping” (regular users are subject to daily limits).
25 million tokens will be distributed among stakers over 12 months. After the DAO launch, holders will vote on adding new blockchains and setting fee levels.
The token will be issued on Solana and Ethereum. Portal Bridge will facilitate transfers between networks without increasing the total supply.
500 million tokens are allocated as follows:
25% — product development (125 million);
20% — marketing (100 million);
20% — exchange liquidity (100 million);
10% — community rewards (50 million);
10% — airdrops (50 million);
10% — project treasury (50 million);
5% — staking rewards (25 million).
The presale opened in May 2025 and will run until October. The team plans to sell up to 60% of the tokens (300 million). The price starts at $0.0935 and will gradually rise to $0.1053 over 60 sale stages.
SNORT can be purchased with SOL, ETH, BNB, USDT, USDC, or via bank card through the Web3Payments system.
The project is backed by Meme Studio LAB, registered in the British Virgin Islands. The smart contracts have been audited by SolidProof and Coinsult.
Betting on a Meme Coin Supercycle
The Snorter team is betting on continued growth in meme coins in 2025. Crypto analyst and one of the developers of the MVRV indicator, Murad Mahmudov, predicts a market capitalization of “funny money” at $1 trillion, with two tokens exceeding $100 billion in capitalization.
If his predictions come true, demand for meme-related trading tools will increase. Snorter positions itself as a solution for traders who want to compete with professional bots without sacrificing the convenience of mobile trading.
