An Intro to the Griffin AI Platform

At Griffin AI, we're building the first AI agents which are designed to work with blockchain technology. Our goal is to create a system where anyone can access, use, build and collaborate on the development of AI agents; semi-autonomous systems which can handle more complex tasks with support from their human developers. You can read a lot more on these in our first post on the launch of our AI Playground here.

Accessibility is a key value for us here at Griffin AI, and we want to ensure that the platform we build is something that both coders and also non-technical founders and creatives can engage with on every level – from using AI agents designed by others, to creating and deploying their own custom AI agents to tackle a range of tasks on the blockchain.

Whether you're an experienced developer or new to the space, our Developer Framework is the laying the groundwork to help ensure that anyone can build and deploy blockchain-enabled AI agents. We want to make the process of building on-chain AI agents as user-friendly and as open as possible—whether you're creating on-chain applications or adding blockchain capabilities to existing Web2 AI systems.

Expanding the AI Agent Playground: New agents on the horizon

The AI Agent Playground is already a key part of our offering, allowing users to interact with our first AI agents—each tailored to enhance the DeFi experience. These include the Research Agent for in-depth Web3 analysis, the News Agent for real-time crypto updates, the Voice Agent for multilingual blockchain insights, and the Influencer Agent for interactive expert-level discussions. Our focus remains on making these tools accessible to all, regardless of technical expertise.

We’ve had new additions to the Playground recently, with the launch of our Image Agent as well as our open Llama Agent chatbot. But we’re not stopping there! Look out for several new agents coming in the weeks ahead!

These additions will introduce expanded capabilities and enable more comprehensive experimentation and collaboration in decentralized AI. To learn more about what’s already happening there, read the latest on the AI Playground right here.

Empowering developers and creators with Griffin AI’s Agent Builder

The Agent Builder is a very important part of our roadmap here at Griffin AI and is currently in development. You’ll be reading more about it very soon as we get ready to release our full roadmap for the year ahead, but let’s explore it in a little more depth here. The Builder, after all, is really at the heart of what we’re creating here at Griffin AI.

As one of our next major releases, the Agent Builder will be a platform where AI agent development is made both simple and accessible. Users will be able to create their own custom AI agents directed at a vast range of tasks including many on-chain interactions. Our immediate focus is on expanding the range of agents available in the Playground, with many more active agents coming soon to help users test and improve the platform.

With the Agent Builder, users will be able to easily create their own AI agents without needing to code. The process is intuitive, with step-by-step guidance provided throughout. Users will also be able to leverage existing agents in the Playground as building blocks, making it simpler to create unique and tailored derivatives.

What sets Griffin AI apart is that these agents come with foundational blockchain capabilities—they can check wallet balances, track transaction statuses, prepare transactions, sign messages, and more. Additionally, they are optimized for broader crypto and DeFi applications, such as accessing blockchain-specific news, datasets, or specialized models for identifying yield pools.

As the Griffin Protocol evolves, creators will realize full ownership and control of their agents using private keys—free from the constraints of centralized, permissioned systems. With Griffin AI, your agents are truly yours—fully decentralized, owned, and governed by you.

A look ahead: The AI Agent Marketplace

A key part of our vision is the development of a trusted Griffin AI Marketplace, where creators can monetize their AI agents. Agents will have unique identifiers, enabling a reputation-based system that ensures quality and trust. Users can make their agents publicly accessible or choose to share them with specific individuals, while setting their own pricing—whether usage-based or subscription-based.

The Marketplace will also integrate on-chain identities for both users and agents, allowing them to build their reputations over time. This system helps users make informed choices, fostering a transparent and vibrant decentralized ecosystem where agent creators are rewarded for their innovations.
