  • With Bitcoin trading above $121K, Strategy now holds over $73 billion in BTC, sitting on $30B+ in unrealized gains.

The leading bitcoin corporate holder in the world among publicly traded companies, ‘Strategy”, formerly known as Microstrategy, has yet again added new funds to its treasury. A report posted today discloses that the firm acquired 4,225 BTC last week for $472.5 million, at an average price of $111,827 per BTC.

Strategy has now pumped its Bitcoin reserves to a whopping 601,550 BTC, or roughly $73.3 billion at the current exchange rate. This purchase was funded via ATM equity programs, which included $330.9M via its common stock (MSTR), as well as $117.6M in its preferred stocks (STRK, STRF, and STRD).

Strategy continues to convert equity into BTC at scale, reinforcing its identity as a Bitcoin proxy. So far, the company has become the center of the new trend of institutional bitcoin adoption, leading companies all around the world to also adopt $BTC as a store of value.

The company holds by far the largest Bitcoin treasury among publicly and privately traded companies at 601,550 BTC, surpassing even industry giants like Coinbase and Tether. Strategy is now closing in to owning 3% of all Bitcoin that will ever exist, solidifying its position as a dominant force in the digital assets’ ecosystem.

For instance, French company “Sequans” recently announced a similar strategy, buying over 683 BTC over the last few weeks.

With over $73 billion in BTC now held and an average entry price of just above $71K, Strategy’s war chest is sitting on more than $30 billion in paper profit, a staggering reward for one of the boldest treasury strategies in modern corporate history.
