Binance is gearing up for the next major update to the Terra Classic (LUNC) blockchain, confirming that it will implement temporary service adjustments to ensure a smooth rollout.
The exchange said that deposits and withdrawals on the LUNC network will be halted shortly before the scheduled upgrade on October 20.
The maintenance window will begin around 4:45 PM, with the network update expected to go live roughly an hour later once block height 25,619,230 is reached.
Binance emphasized that all backend operations will be managed internally, meaning users won’t need to make any manual changes or take action during the process.
Trading on the exchange – including both spot and futures markets – will continue as normal throughout the upgrade.
Once the network stabilizes, deposits and withdrawals will automatically reopen without further announcements.
According to Binance, the latest Terra Classic update is designed to boost overall performance and enhance security measures for transactions on the blockchain, marking another step in the project’s ongoing technical evolution.
