Sorare, the blockchain-based fantasy sports platform, announced its transition from Ethereum Layer 2 solution StarkEx to Solana, aiming to enhance its platform's openness and flexibility. By the end of October, Sorare plans to bridge all NFT cards to Solana, ensuring the preservation of attributes such as scarcity and metadata. The company will absorb all gas fees associated with the migration. In a bid to improve transaction efficiency, users' ETH balances on StarkEx will initially be transferred to Base, Coinbase's Ethereum Layer 2. This strategic move coincides with a surge in NFT sales, with Sorare playing a significant role in the market's trading volume.
