Looks like this year, OctoBEAR was saved in the last second, and BULLtober is swinging with full force. Since we stepped into Q4 2025, the total crypto market jumped from a little under $4T to $4.245T. Most of those $245Bn in capitalization, of course, was sucked from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and major altcoins like ETHFI and EIGEN.
Just under three days, they managed to make a full V-shaped reversal and another breakout of long-standing resistance, showing the market’s strength. However, things are far from over, so let’s try to determine what we can expect from now on and what the best new cryptocurrency to buy is.
Is Ethereum Going to a New All-Time High?
Retest of 200 EMA & SMA is successful. As we can see previously, this means one thing if you follow the market trend and don’t overcomplicate things. Continuation of the trend with expected resistance above $4700 price level.

On a daily time frame, as usual $ the $4,000 level is our strong support. With recent price action, there is no reason to think that the price is not going to revisit the previous ATH. In that line of thought, we can say that price can make some small consolidation channel that either gonna propel us to new ATH or send us below $4000 level support.
Going below $4,000 means breaking out the structure and changing the trend of the market. But for now, we don’t have to worry about that and wear our up-only caps. With that said, many altcoins will go parabolic and gonna leave us with a hard decision on which new crypto to buy right now.
EIGEN, The Gem of DeFi, Going to $6?
Eigen is one of the most promising restaking protocols with almost $20Bn of TVL staying on the forefront of Ethereum DeFi.

This sleeping giant currently has 123% of its market cap staked. On top of that, it managed to break out of a long consolidation, usually leading to explosive moves.
Breakout above $1.66 resistance now acting as a support. EIGEN is currently consolidating above it, starting to respect the 200 EMA&SMA. Managed to make a little fakeout to scare us out for a brief moment, but with explosive V shape reversal, it’s back on track.

On a higher time frame, we can see there is not much resistance above us. The one that is around $2.5 and then the one at $5.50. Leaving us with a pretty much easy way to new ATH and $6 mark.
But for that to happen first, we need to see Bitcoin and Ethereum rally to new ATH and find their comfortable steady zone so they can give some liquidity and room for alts to move.
If we don’t meet this criteria and unfortunately move down, Eigen will go back in its choppy consolidation channel, gearing up once again.

ETHFI – $1 Billion Staking Protocol About to Explode?
Looks like staking meta is coming back with full force and just like EIGEN is put in the spotlight. With a 27% move over 24 hours, it managed to break out of the diagonal resistance formed back in May.
ETHFI is exhibiting a strong directional bias, turning green on several indicators. As usual, we can assess it more easily with the 200 EMA&SMA, which is gaining traction. On top of that, escaping the consolidation channel with volume shows strong confluence in the narrative.

Weekly, we can observe that the price is increasing with lower volume, indicating that supply is being squeezed and less money is required for the price to move. A perfect example of this is a short squeeze that can trigger numerous short liquidations from the chart, pushing the price violently even higher.
The resistance that we can expect is at $3 $5.2, and $6.7. The RSI indicator is staying above the average line but far from the overbought areas, showing strength. MACD is staying flat, positive, showing an average moving average going up only. With everything said, this looks like a good opportunity to enter long.
