Ledger has launched the Nano Gen5, a $179 device designed to manage digital identities in an AI-driven world. This new iteration of Ledger's hardware wallet, now termed a "signer," extends beyond cryptocurrency storage to include smart contract handling and identity verification. The Nano Gen5 features "Clear Signature" for transaction verification, Bluetooth and NFC for mobile signing, and a recovery key for enhanced security. Alongside, Ledger introduced an upgraded Ledger Wallet app and the Ledger Enterprise Multisig platform for institutional asset management.
