XRPScan Begins Countdown to 100 Millionth XRP Ledger

XRPScan has launched a countdown to the 100 millionth ledger on the XRP Ledger, with the current count at 99,828,230. The XRP Ledger, operational since 2012, processes a ledger approximately every five seconds. It reached 50 million ledgers in 2019 and 80 million by May 2023. Recent advancements in 2025 include the introduction of the DynamicNFT amendment for variable NFTs, a batch transaction proposal, and Ripple's EVM sidechain, which allows XRPL assets to interact with Ethereum smart contracts.
