Available to Search Labs subscribers in the U.S., the feature enables users to input specific prompts, such as requesting tickets for concerts, and the AI searches multiple websites in real time to present options and facilitate bookings. Subscribers to Google AI Pro and Ultra benefit from higher usage limits. Launched in March, AI Mode supports complex queries with structured, multi-source answers. This update follows the addition of restaurant reservation capabilities in August. Google continues to integrate AI into its services, as seen with the September Chrome updates that included Gemini for enhanced browsing. The move aligns with similar advancements by competitors like Apple, Anthropic, and OpenAI in AI-powered search and browsing tools.
