The collaboration integrates Cactus Custody's Cactus Oasis off-chain settlement solution into KuCoin's platform, allowing clients to trade without transferring assets to exchange wallets. This ensures assets remain secure in Cactus Custody's accounts, isolated from the trading platform. The partnership leverages Cactus Custody's multi-signature wallets, cold storage, and ISO-certified security standards to protect assets during various trading activities, including spot, leveraged, options, and futures trading. This initiative aligns with KuCoin's recent $2 billion Trust Project aimed at boosting client confidence. Tika Lum, head of KuCoin Institutional's global business, highlighted the partnership as a significant step in building a secure institutional digital asset ecosystem.
