Coins.ph and BCRemit Launch Low-Cost Remittance Service for Overseas Filipinos

Coins.ph, the Philippines' largest licensed cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with BCRemit to introduce a stablecoin-based remittance service for Filipinos in the UK, EU, US, and Canada. Launched on November 1, 2025, the service allows users to convert USD or EUR into stablecoins such as USDC or USDT, which can then be converted to PHP in their Coins.ph accounts. This initiative, approved by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, promises to cut fees by up to 80% compared to traditional banking methods and offers instant transfers. Looking ahead, Coins.ph plans to introduce a QR-based outbound remittance feature in 2026, further enhancing the ease and speed of international money transfers for overseas Filipinos.
