Tether has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Da Nang City, Vietnam, to enhance digital governance and infrastructure through blockchain technology. The collaboration aims to integrate blockchain, digital assets, and peer-to-peer technologies into the city's governance framework, drawing on international best practices for transparency and efficiency. Tether will assist in policy development for blockchain and digital assets, including sandbox experiments and tokenization of real-world assets. The partnership will also focus on educational initiatives, working with Vietnamese universities and research institutions to develop training programs in blockchain, peer-to-peer technology, and AI. These efforts aim to improve financial inclusion and modernize Da Nang's transaction ecosystem by building local capacity to manage blockchain-based payment systems.
