Bitwise CIO Forecasts Bitcoin Surge to $115,000 by Year-End

Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan has projected a significant rise in Bitcoin's price, anticipating it could reach $115,000 by the end of the year. Despite recent market downturns, Hougan remains optimistic, citing new buyer interest and the CLARITY Act as potential drivers for a fourth-quarter rally. Looking further ahead, he predicts Bitcoin could soar to $1.3 million by 2035. Hougan also expressed confidence in altcoins, particularly Solana, Ethereum, and Chainlink, due to their roles in tokenization and DeFi expansion. He suggested Solana could increase tenfold, potentially hitting $1,600. However, he cautioned about risks such as institutional outflows and an economic downturn linked to an AI bubble.
