Hedera Hashgraph Group (THG) has entered into a strategic framework agreement with the Philippine Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to advance Web3 and distributed ledger technology (DLT) in public services. This collaboration aims to enhance public-private cooperation, focusing on digital identity, public records, environmental data, and the digitization of tourism and cultural heritage. Six regional agreements have been signed, including in the National Capital Region and Davao City. The partnership leverages Hedera's ABFT-level security, low transaction costs, and rapid consensus capabilities. The HBAR token has surged 14.3% in the last 24 hours, fueled by anticipation of a potential Grayscale ETF listing.
