Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, has offloaded over $5 million in altcoins amid a surge in crypto liquidations. Hayes sold tokens including ETH, ENA, and LDO, with the largest transaction being $2.48 million in ETH, according to Lookonchain's analysis of transfers via FalconX and Wintermute. Despite the sell-off, Hayes has increased his holdings in Zcash (ZEC), indicating confidence in the privacy-focused cryptocurrency. The ZEC/BTC pair has been trending upwards, forming higher highs and higher lows. This move comes as the broader crypto market experienced $620 million in liquidations over 24 hours, with Bitcoin and Ethereum leading the declines.
