Runlayer, a startup focused on enhancing security for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), has secured $11 million in seed funding. The round was led by Keith Rabois of Khosla Ventures and Felicis. Founded by Andrew Berman, Runlayer has developed a comprehensive security platform that integrates gateway protection, threat detection, observability, and enterprise developer tools to address MCP's security gaps.
