Paribu Acquires CoinMENA in $240 Million Deal

Turkish cryptocurrency exchange Paribu has announced the acquisition of CoinMENA, the largest local crypto exchange in the Middle East and North Africa, in a deal valued at up to $240 million. This transaction marks the largest fintech deal in Turkey to date. Through this acquisition, Paribu will gain direct access to CoinMENA's licenses from Dubai's VARA and the Central Bank of Bahrain. CoinMENA, founded in 2020, has secured over $2 billion in funding.
