As an SBMA member, Matrixdock shared insights into its tokenization technology and asset verification mechanisms, aiming to modernize the precious metals industry. The article emphasizes the transformation of gold from a trust-based asset to a verifiable on-chain asset through tokenization. It uses XAUm, Matrixdock's gold token, as a case study, demonstrating how third-party physical gold audits combined with on-chain data disclosure enable 1:1 traceable verification between physical reserves and token supply.
