SERA-Crypto, which stands for Semantic Embedding and Reasoning Agent, integrates live data, onchain signals, and news flow from Web3 and DeFi to produce research-style answers. Tested alongside systems like GPT-5 and Grok 4, SERA-Crypto excels in recency and relevance, maintaining a response time under 45 seconds. The architecture rephrases questions to clarify intent, resolves ambiguous symbols, and uses semantic embeddings to access the right tools. It fetches onchain data, market data, and news in parallel, merging these into a single, sourced answer. Evaluations on 198 real queries show SERA-Crypto as a leading open-source agent in Web3 domains, ranking high in relevance and temporal accuracy. SERA-Crypto is the first step in a broader open-source initiative by SentientAGI, with plans to release the full framework and benchmarks, facilitating the creation of new research agents grounded in real Web3 data.
