Singapore Gulf Bank (SGB) has unveiled a zero-fee stablecoin minting service on the Solana blockchain, allowing clients to convert USD and SGD into USDC and USDT without incurring transaction or gas fees. Announced at Solana Breakpoint 2025 in Abu Dhabi, this service targets corporate clients for treasury management and cross-border payments. SGB, regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain and supported by Whampoa Group and Mumtalakat, has processed over $7 billion in transactions since its market entry, highlighting the integration of blockchain with traditional finance.
