Musk emphasized that energy is the true currency and predicted that energy and power generation will become the de facto currency, as it cannot be created through legislation. Similarly, NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang, in a 2024 discussion with Margaret Spellings, characterized Bitcoin as a new storage vehicle for surplus energy. Both Musk and Huang view Bitcoin as a means to store and transfer energy value, highlighting its role as a technological carrier of energy.
