MoveBit Unveils Belobog Fuzzing Framework for Move Smart Contracts

MoveBit, a project by BitsLab, has introduced Belobog, a fuzzing framework designed to enhance the testing of Move smart contracts. Detailed in a paper on arXiv, Belobog leverages the Move language's type system to generate valid transaction sequences, significantly improving the detection of bugs. In tests across 109 projects, the framework identified 100% of critical bugs and 79% of major bugs. Currently, Belobog is open-source and under review for the Programming Language Design and Implementation (PLDI) 2026 conference.
