OSL Group has launched XAUT, a gold-backed stablecoin known as Tether Gold, to bolster its stablecoin and real-world asset (RWA) ecosystem. This initiative follows a strategic partnership with Antalpha to list XAUT, which aligns with OSL's criteria for RWAs by providing a liquid and standardized asset with payment capabilities. Zhang Yinghua, OSL's Chief Business Officer, highlighted that the introduction of XAUT enhances the firm's digital wealth management services and strengthens its position in the expanding stablecoin market. The move is expected to attract institutional clients seeking reliable and versatile digital assets.
