The construction of the city is already underway, supported by a comprehensive masterplan. In contrast, El Salvador's Bitcoin City project remains on hold, pending the issuance of Volcano Bonds. Bhutan's proactive approach, utilizing its sovereign mining reserves, highlights its strategic positioning in the cryptocurrency sector, outpacing El Salvador's delayed infrastructure upgrades.
