Bifrost has introduced vETH 3, a new cross-chain staking solution for Ethereum, offering a remarkable 273% annual percentage yield (APY) for the first month. This upgrade facilitates native full-chain minting of Ethereum Liquid Staking Tokens (LST) across multiple networks, including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polkadot, and Bifrost itself. Built on the SLPx protocol and utilizing Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) from the SSV Network, vETH 3 ensures decentralized node security and is fully compatible with the ERC-4626 standard. This launch aims to address liquidity fragmentation and enhance staking efficiency in a multi-chain environment, encouraging broader participation in Ethereum staking.
