In the week of December 14-20, 2025, the cryptocurrency sector witnessed significant venture capital activity, with $335.1 million raised across 18 projects. RedotPay, a Hong Kong-based stablecoin payment fintech, led the funding with a $107 million Series B round. The investment was supported by Goodwater Capital, Pantera, and Blockchain Capital, bringing RedotPay's total funding to $194 million. Additionally, Fuse, known for Project Zero, raised $70 million in a Series B round led by Lower Carbon and Balderton Capital, achieving a project valuation of $5 billion. Other significant funding rounds included Metya's $50 million strategic round and Olea's $30 million Series A.
