By offering verified NAV data on-chain, Octav seeks to improve transparency and automation within the DeFi sector. The integration is already in action with Balancer, whose treasury NAV is now accessible at balancer.octav.fi. Octav plans further collaborations, including with Mellow Protocol, to expand this model. This approach mirrors traditional finance practices where third parties calculate NAV, enabling DeFi protocols to track reserves, verify valuations, and automate smart contract operations effectively.
