Funkari team member Neks highlighted the issue, revealing that sponsors received emails stating that expenses had already exceeded the sponsorship fees, thus making refunds impossible. Sponsorship packages ranged from €5,000 to over €30,000, with 61 sponsors reportedly involved, suggesting a total sponsorship amount of at least €300,000, potentially exceeding €500,000.
