Ethereum Foundation member Tim Beiko announced a strategic shift in his focus from Layer 1 (L1) development to exploring advanced applications of Ethereum. Beiko shared on the X platform that while the Ethereum protocol approaches its "endgame," its potential as a scalable and secure "world computer" is just beginning to be realized. He will continue with the Ethereum Foundation as a protocol advisor, contributing to organizational and ecosystem collaboration. Additionally, Beiko will remain involved with the Association for Cryptologic Development (ACDE), where Ansgar has agreed to extend his interim term as chair. Beiko will participate actively in ACDE meetings until a long-term plan is established.
