21Shares has launched its Bitcoin and Gold ETP, known as BOLD, on the London Stock Exchange as of January 13th. This exchange-traded product combines Bitcoin and gold into a single risk-weighted portfolio, aiming to deliver Bitcoin-like returns with reduced volatility. BOLD is the first UK-listed product to offer both assets in a single ETF, following the UK's recent easing of cryptocurrency ETF restrictions. Originally launched in Switzerland in April 2022, BOLD has been trading on several major European exchanges and has achieved a 122.5% return in GBP terms by the end of 2025, outperforming both Bitcoin and gold. The product's assets are held by institutional-grade custodians, with monthly rebalancing to maintain equal risk exposure. It offers intraday trading with a total fee rate of 0.65%.
