Cryptocurrency exchange Paradex experienced a significant disruption when a database migration error caused Bitcoin prices to temporarily display as zero on the platform. This anomaly triggered widespread liquidations. Paradex halted trading for approximately eight hours to address the issue. The team subsequently rolled back the blockchain state to the block preceding the error and canceled all orders except for take-profit and stop-loss orders. Paradex assured users that their funds remained secure throughout the incident.
