The cryptocurrency market experienced $335 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, with long positions bearing the brunt at $297 million, according to Coinglass data. Bitcoin long positions accounted for $108 million of the liquidations, while Ethereum longs saw $114 million liquidated. Short positions were less affected, with $38.14 million liquidated overall, including $3.4781 million in Bitcoin shorts and $4.4501 million in Ethereum shorts. A total of 104,068 traders were liquidated globally, with the largest single liquidation occurring on Hyperliquid's ETH-USD pair, valued at $6.8094 million. This significant market movement highlights the volatility and risk associated with leveraged trading in the crypto space.
