Ukraine has officially banned the prediction market platform Polymarket, with no legal pathway for its return to the Ukrainian market. The National Commission for State Regulation of Electronic Communications of Ukraine issued Resolution No. 695, classifying Polymarket as an illegal gambling service without local licensing. Consequently, its domain has been blacklisted, and internet service providers are required to restrict access. Polymarket previously faced criticism from Ukrainian authorities and media for hosting bets on topics such as "when Russia will occupy Ukrainian cities."
