Dormant ETH Whale Transfers $145 Million to Gemini After Nine Years

A long-dormant Ethereum whale address has reactivated after nine years, transferring 50,000 ETH, valued at approximately $145 million, to the Gemini exchange. The address, which originally withdrew 135,000 ETH from Bitfinex when Ethereum was priced at about $90, has seen the value of its holdings increase 32-fold. Following the recent transfer, the address still retains 85,000 ETH, worth around $244 million.
