The change was prompted by AI company Anthropic, which claimed the name "Clawdbot" could be confused with its Claude product. This led to a sharp decline in the prices of related meme tokens on the Solana and Base chains, sparking investor outrage. Steinberger clarified that the name change was not his decision and revealed that during the process, his original GitHub and X account names were hijacked by crypto scammers. He firmly stated that he will never participate in any crypto projects and warned that any project claiming he is a token holder is fraudulent.
