The deal, orchestrated by Eric Trump, involved $187 million directed to Trump family entities and $31 million to those linked to Steve Witkoff, a Trump Middle East envoy. Following this transaction, the Trump administration approved the sale of advanced AI chips to the UAE. Warren labeled the deal as "clearly corrupt" and demanded the revocation of the AI chip sale and congressional testimonies from involved officials. The White House maintains that the president adhered to ethics rules and did not engage in business activities affecting his duties.
