Hyperliquid to Introduce Outcome Contract Trading on HyperCore

Hyperliquid has announced that its HyperCore platform will support Outcome contract trading, as outlined in HIP-4. Outcome contracts are fully collateralized and settle within a fixed range, making them suitable for prediction markets and bounded derivatives similar to options. These contracts do not involve leverage or liquidation, featuring non-linear and expiry characteristics. The Outcome primitive can be combined with margin and HyperEVM to enhance HyperCore's capabilities. Currently in the testnet phase, Outcome will launch on standardized markets with objective settlement sources and be priced in USDH. Future plans include permissionless deployment based on user feedback.
