Bitcoin Miner IREN to Join MSCI US Index on February 27

Bitcoin mining firm IREN Limited will be added to the MSCI US Index after the market closes on February 27. This inclusion follows the addition of Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, as another cryptocurrency-related company in the index. The MSCI US Index, which tracks large- and mid-cap stocks in the U.S. equity market, represents about 85% of the free-float adjusted market capitalization. Being part of this index can enhance a company's visibility and attract passive fund inflows from institutional investors.
