Anchorage Digital, Kamino, and Solana Labs have unveiled a new tri-party custody model designed for institutional staking of Solana (SOL). Announced on February 13, this collaboration allows institutions to stake SOL within a compliant custody framework, facilitating access to on-chain lending and liquidity without transferring assets out of a regulated environment. Anchorage Digital will oversee collateral management and on-chain risk control, enhancing its Atlas system to integrate with Kamino and the Solana ecosystem.
