The incident is linked to the price oracle mechanism used by sDOLA and the amount of sDOLA circulating outside of collateral in the market. Although the attacker gained relatively little, the event highlights the importance of handling vault-type collateral in LlamaLend. Users who borrowed using sDOLA as collateral were liquidated, while lenders remained unaffected, and sDOLA holders received some gains.
