MemeStrategy, a digital asset company listed in Asia, has announced the launch of the world's first tokenized Pokémon card fund, targeting professional investors. The fund, facilitated through EVIDENT Platform Services Limited, aims to provide an institutional-grade investment channel in the collectible card market, focusing on the limited edition "Van Gogh Pikachu" card, graded PSA 10. This card, inspired by Van Gogh's self-portrait, is a collaboration between The Pokémon Company and the Van Gogh Museum. The fund plans to acquire approximately 25% of all PSA 10 graded "Van Gogh Pikachu" cards, with the total market value of these cards estimated at over $94 million. The global collectibles market is projected to reach $628 billion by 2031, with the collectible cards segment expected to grow significantly. Managed by RWA Labs Limited, a subsidiary of Mi Strategy, the fund ensures the physical cards are authenticated, insured, and stored in climate-controlled facilities, with semi-annual audits by a Big Four accounting firm.
