The cryptocurrency market experienced significant liquidations totaling $138 million over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGlass data. Long positions were particularly affected, with $99.9 million liquidated, compared to $38.5 million in short positions. Bitcoin and Ethereum saw liquidations of $43.8 million and $25.8 million, respectively. A total of 68,312 traders were liquidated during this period, with the largest single liquidation occurring on the XYZ:MU-USD pair on Hyperliquid, valued at $6.5 million. This wave of liquidations highlights the volatility and risk inherent in leveraged trading within the crypto markets.
