BNB Chain Leads in On-Chain AI Agents, Surpassing Ethereum

BNB Smart Chain has overtaken Ethereum as the leading blockchain for on-chain AI agents, with over 34,000 AI agents registered using the ERC-8004 standard. This surpasses Ethereum Mainnet's 14,000 and Base's 16,500 agents, according to data from Agentscan and 8004scan. The total number of ERC-8004 agents across all chains has skyrocketed from 337 to nearly 130,000 since the start of the year, marking a growth of over 39,000%. On-chain activity has also seen a significant increase. On March 10, BNB Smart Chain recorded nearly 523,000 daily transactions by AI agents, while on March 11, the daily trading volume driven by these agents on decentralized exchanges exceeded $18.1 million.
