Short positions accounted for $34.715 million of the liquidations. Bitcoin (BTC) saw $66.691 million in liquidations, while Ethereum (ETH) accounted for $42.15 million. A total of 69,679 traders were liquidated during this period, with the largest single liquidation occurring on the BTC-USD pair on Hyperliquid, valued at $36.007 million. This wave of liquidations highlights the volatility and risk inherent in the crypto markets, particularly for leveraged positions.
