ARK Invest Boosts Solmate Stake with $162 Million Investment

ARK Invest has increased its investment in Solmate, formerly known as Brera Holdings, by approximately $162 million. This move follows Solmate's recent $300 million funding round aimed at developing a digital asset treasury on the Solana blockchain. The funding round included contributions from Pulsar Group, RockawayX, and the Solana Foundation. ARK has allocated 6.5 million BREA shares across its three ETFs. Following the investment, BREA's stock price surged over 225% during intraday trading, closing at $24.90. Meanwhile, Solana's SOL token has surpassed $250, achieving a monthly gain of over 20%.
