The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has reported that military strikes by Israel and the United States against Iran have resulted in significant security incidents in the Strait of Hormuz. According to IMO Secretary General Dominguez, these events have led to the deaths of seven seafarers and left approximately 20,000 seafarers stranded at sea in the Persian Gulf.
