In an interview on the Axios Show, Luckey highlighted China's rapid deployment of AI across government and industry, surpassing the U.S. in speed and efficiency. He noted that China is effectively leveraging open-source AI advancements and possesses structural advantages that facilitate faster practical application of AI technologies. Luckey also discussed Anduril's upcoming 5-million-square-foot weapons manufacturing facility in Ohio, set to open ahead of schedule. Additionally, he supported the Pentagon's stance on labeling Anthropic a supply chain risk, emphasizing that military decisions should remain under governmental control. Anduril, founded in 2017, recently secured a $20 billion contract with the U.S. Army for its AI command and control platform, Lattice, and related technologies.
