The U.S. Dollar Index, which tracks the dollar against six major currencies, declined by 0.69% to 98.958 on March 24, according to Finviz data. In forex trading, the euro rose to $1.1607 from $1.1559, while the British pound increased to $1.3425 from $1.3337. The dollar weakened against the Japanese yen, trading at 158.45 yen compared to 159.22 yen previously. It also fell against the Swiss franc, exchanging at 0.7865 francs from 0.7885 francs. Conversely, the dollar strengthened slightly against the Canadian dollar, moving to 1.3719 from 1.3707, and decreased against the Swedish krona, trading at 9.3095 from 9.3594.
