A U.S. District Court has denied a motion to dismiss the TradeAI/Stakx fraud case, allowing the lawsuit to move forward. Judge Lewis Kaplan of the Southern District of New York rejected all defense arguments related to jurisdiction, venue, and service of process. The case, filed by Burwick Law, accuses multiple defendants of running a Ponzi-like scheme involving NFTs and cryptocurrency investment pools, with estimated losses exceeding $20 million and a total alleged scheme scale of $440 million. Judge Kaplan ordered defendant Cyrus Abraham to provide his current address to the plaintiff's law firm by March 31 or face default judgment and sanctions. The court extended the deadline for formal service to April 22 and approved alternative service methods, including Ethereum wallets, email, and social media.
